Our Wedding

After our first date in 2021, I told my friends that Kyle was going to be my boyfriend, I just knew it. Little did I know, he would be my future husband.In the summer of 2021, we were both living at home and ready to become real adults. San Francisco was my dream and Chicago was Kyle’s. So naturally… we both moved to San Francisco and ended up just four blocks apart!San Francisco quickly became the place where our life together really began. We moved in together, adopted our first cat, Eddie, made countless memories, and unsurprisingly earned the prestigious title of Customers of the Month at Shanghai Kelly’s.Eventually, we were ready for a new adventure together and thought back to Kyle’s dream. So we packed up and headed to Chicago. Since then, there have already been a lot of memories - old friends, new friends, road trips, a second cat named Froggy, and one very important (freezing) engagement. And now, we’re getting married!We can’t wait to celebrate in the city we’ve come to love with all of our favorite people, and toast to whatever comes next.

Airports

Both O'Hare International Airport (ORD) and Midway International Airport (MDW) are great options and offer easy access to downtown Chicago. O'Hare (ORD): Approximately 1 hour from downtown.Midway (MDW): Approximately 45 minutes from downtown. Choose whichever airport offers the best flight for you!

Airport Transporation

There are several convenient ways to get downtown from either airport: Uber/Lyft:A quick and easy option from both airports. CTA Trains:Chicago's train system is affordable and easy to use. From O'Hare, take the Blue Line directly to downtown.From Midway, take the Orange Line directly to downtown. From either train stop, it's just a short walk to the hotels.You can simply tap your phone or contactless credit card at the turnstiles using Apple Pay, Google Pay, or another contactless payment method, or purchase a ticket with cash or a credit card. Rental Cars:While rental cars are available, we don't recommend renting one unless you plan to explore outside of the city. Once you're staying downtown, Chicago is very walkable, and public transportation and rideshares make getting around easy.
